When becoming a driver in logistics you will be responsible for loading, carrying and delivering goods. You will also be responsible for the fuel usage of the vehicle and being safe while using the vehicle. Doing this part of the development will allow you to gain a recognised NVQ Qualification.
Duration of the Apprenticeship
The driving goods apprenticeship will take around 12 to 14 months to complete. It is usually a requirement for the student to see the course assessor at least once a month. On meeting with the assessor you will have to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that you have learnt so far.
Location of Apprenticeship
We offer and provide all training at our current premises. There will be no need for you to have to travel to a training venue unless told otherwise.

Our Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles will give learners the chance to showcase their skills as well as knowledge to the standards required by the logistics sector. Learners will be required to demonstrate competence not only in driving the vehicle but also how to prepare the vehicle, correct loading and unloading. Other things included will be dealing with payments, planning routes and customer service.
